On Wednesday (17 October), the Nubian Music Festival hosted an intimate party at Activist/ Untitled bar, in Braamfontein, to announce this year’s stellar line-up.

The festival will return for a second run, from 14 – 17 December, at Eaglewaters Widllife Resort, Hartbeetspoort Dam, in North West. Also performing at this year’s festival is Selaelo Selota, Gugu Shezi, Afrotraction, Kunle Ayo, Candy Tsamandebele and many more.
At the announcement party, guests were teased with brief sets by some of the headline acts. Selaelo Selota, Kunle Ayo and Candy set the cosy underground bar ablaze with their electrifying accoustic sets.
The festival creator, Mpho Mathope said that those who attend the festival can also enjoy a great gateway away from city. There are beautiful landscapes, including the Magaliesburg mountain view, and wildlife.
Attendees can book Chalets, camping site for their own tents or upscale tent accommodation with access to fishing facilities, lion and cheetah parks, zoo and many more.
Tickets range from R300 to R1500.
